Built From a Real Crisis, Not a Business Plan
AGO Consulting LLC didn't start with a pitch deck or an MBA thesis. It started inside my own family. GCN Construction Inc. — the exterior contracting company my parents Cosme and Danely Gutierrez founded in 2019 — was struggling, and I had a choice: hope someone else could fix it, or learn how to fix it myself.
From September through December 2025, I led a 4-month forensic financial analysis of GCN, reconstructing the picture line-by-line from raw Wells Fargo bank statements. I built a multi-tab KPI dashboard, packaged the findings into a 16-slide client presentation, and stood up a custom client portal with branded secure login so my parents could actually see — in real time — where the money was going.
The results were measurable: a 15% reduction in operating expenses and a 38% increase in digital exposure after I rewrote the website and corrected the audit issues. Not slides. Not promises. Real numbers.
That experience revealed a gap in the market: small businesses need this kind of real financial guidance, but they can't afford the firms that provide it. I built AGO Consulting to bridge that gap — to deliver practical, data-driven work to owners who fall between basic bookkeeping and expensive traditional consulting.
